Hi! I’m Kristi, a freelance artist with a passion for hand-drawn illustrations, logo and apparel design. Occasionally, you’ll find me painting overhead murals in beautiful places.
Having grown up on Curaçao, a small island in the Caribbean, I draw my inspiration from the vibrant colors and elements of island life. My creative journey is closely intertwined with my passion for the ocean, which I express through all kinds of watersports. The salty lifestyle is my source of inspiration and can be traced in all my work.
I love to collaborate closely with sustainable, enthusiastic and adventurous companies and individuals. I aim to help (starting) brands develop and find their identity throughout their early stages, capturing their spirit in the most authentic way possible.

my story
I was always a creative kid. Not a day would go by without me painting or drawing. In 2015, I moved to the Netherlands to study law. Unfortunately, I got somewhat lost in the busy Amsterdam life and struggled to find the time and inspiration to create.
In 2023, I decided to turn things around. I quit my job as an intellectual property lawyer and instead, decided to pursue my long lost passion for art. Ever since, I have been painting murals, hosting workshops and creating digital art.
While traveling through Costa Rica and Nicaragua, I started painting murals. I soon received more and more inquiries about my work. Before I knew it, I was designing logos and merchandise, mainly for surf and kitesurf-related brands. I have been building up my portfolio ever since.
Combining my creative passion for art with my love for traveling, connecting with like-minded people and watersports has been a dream come true.
It's my life's mission to spread this same joy to the world around me.
